Olson Heating and Cooling was founded in 1984 by Terry and Liz Olson.

In 2007, Chris Olson took over the management of daily operations. Olson Heating and Cooling is a family run business in its fourth generation of providing year-round comfort. We are proud to currently offer over 140 years of combined experience in our field. We take great pride in the job we do. Based in Wooster, Ohio, we serve Wooster and surrounding areas, Wayne, Holmes, and Ashland counties in Ohio. 


It is our goal to always put service and the customers’ needs first. We service and install everything comfort related. Our new installations can be custom made through our sheet metal fabrication facility. We provide indoor comfort, in style, for your home or business.

In Memoriam

Terrence W. Olson-Founder

Terry Olson was born in Battle Creek, Michigan and grew up working with his grandfather, who was a heating contractor. After finishing his service in the US Navy, he relocated to Wooster, Ohio. There he met his wife, best friend, and business partner, Liz.


In 1984, they created Olson Heating and Cooling Inc. in the basement of their home. Terry continued to do service work until his passing and always had a great passion for his profession. Terry is missed by all who knew him and still lives on every day within the company he created.

Elizabeth A. Olson-Founder

Liz Olson was born in the village of Placentia Bay, Newfoundland. She was and will always be the driving force behind Olson Heating & Cooling Inc. Liz was an amazing receptionist, HR manager, bookkeeper, and, most importantly, an awesome person.


Liz passed in 2012 but lives on every day in the company she loved and created.
